When To Use:

Dogzilian Soothing Serum is known to assist healing in the following:

• A scratch (ie. minor cuts / abrasions) – do you really need to visit the vet if your dog gets a scratch from the rough and tumble of playing with other dogs or catching a thorn from rushing through thick brush? Or can you just let nature take its course and allow this superficial wound to heal on its own? The problem is that if you leave it, your dog may lick constantly to relieve himself of the pain or irritation that the scratch is creating. Your dog is, admittedly, in a bit of pain. There are a couple of risks. First of all, your dog’s incessant licking of the scratch may worsen it -for example, by breaking the skin even more or transferring bacteria from the mouth to a now-open wound, leading to infection.

• Clipper rash / clipper burn – when your dog has been to the groomers or vet and clippers have been used, your dog’s sensitive skin might get a little bit red, angry or inflamed – this is usually in the belly and hygiene area where there is less coat. Dogzilian Soothing Serum was designed specifically as an all-natural aftershave gel to provide cooling and soothing relief to inflamed skin. Often, a dog will go home looking good after grooming, but her skin might still tickle or feel a bit awkward, or there might even be some pain from the irritation. So she will lick and nibble or scratch, trying to seek relief from the irritation. And then she may break the skin, which can lead to a hot-spot and possibly infection. This is nobody’s fault. It’s not the groomer. It’s not the owner – although as owners we should keep an eye on our dog’s behaviour after grooming and stop or check any unwanted incessant licking. But once the skin is broken and an infection forms, it is off to the vet.

• Skin irritation – between the toes or on the pads, within folds of skin or on the nose. Dogzilian Soothing Serum is an all-natural anti-septic that assists in restoring the skin to its normal function.

How To Use:

Dispense a dab or so of Dogzilian Soothing Serum onto your fingertips and apply lightly and sparingly to cover the affected areas of your dog’s skin. Allow the skin to absorb the serum. Reapply two to three times daily or as required. Allow the skin to dry normally before reapplying. Observe the affected area to ensure the skin is returning to a normal and healthy appearance. If the affected area is not getting better or has become infected (if you notice seeping puss, swelling or a bad odour, discontinue use and seek professional veterinary advice immediately).
