The Ruff and Tumble Cooling Coat for dogs, with its triple-layer cooling technology, offers owners peace of mind on warm days. Whether it's sunny outside or warm indoors, this Cool Coat will keep your dog comfortable and refreshed, allowing you both to enjoy summer outings.
To use, simply soak the Cooling Vest in cold water, wring it out, and fasten it onto your dog. The cooling effect begins immediately. The coat uses evaporative cooling technology, with three layers working together to regulate your dog's temperature.
The outer silver layer, with a maximum UPF 50+ rating, reflects the sun's rays. The middle layer holds cool water in a reservoir, which activates the evaporative cooling process when heated, similar to sweating, helping to cool your dog. The inner mesh layer keeps your dog cool without getting them wet. To maintain continuous cooling, regularly re-soak the coat to ensure the middle layer stays saturated.
It's best to use the Cooling Gear as a preventative measure rather than waiting until your dog is too hot. Always provide shade and water on warmer days, and remember that different dogs handle heat differently depending on their breed, size, coat, age, and weight.
Cooling coat sizes differ from Drying Coat sizes. Please double check your sizes using the guide below.
Sizes are adjustable using the sliders on the chest straps. To determine the right size for your dog, you need to know your dog’s chest size and 'topline' (the topline is measured from the shoulder blades to the start of the tail).
If your dog is between two sizes we recommend taking the smaller size.

If you need to return or exchange an item please email us at returns@chelseadogs.com within 14 days of receiving your item stating your full name and contact details and your reason for return. You will then be issued with the correct returns address to send the goods back to.
You must return the item within 28 days from delivery in brand new, unused, saleable condition and you are responsible for the cost and risk of return so please ensure you take out the correct postal insurance. In the case of an exchange of size, you will also have to pay the difference in cost if there is any.
Returns/Exchanges are not accepted on any item which has been personalised, made to order and therefore bespoke or perishable.
If the item arrives faulty or it is not what you ordered, you will either be sent the correct item as soon as possible or you will be issued a full refund. It is possible incorrect items will be collected by a courier arranged by us or our suppliers.
Your refund will be issued within 30 days of returning the item.
