Teach Your Dog To Spin

Written by Alessia

While spinning isn’t an extremely practical trick, it’s a fun party trick to impress your friends , family, and other furry friends. To teaching your dog to spin is fairly easy, as the cues physically prompt your pooch.

Step One: Using a treat, guide your dog around in circles with a treat while using the command “spin”.

Step Two: Keep doing this, and add in a finger movement for spinning.

Step Three: Use the finger motion alone and the command “spin”. Treat your dog when he obeys the commands.

Step Four: Repeat step three until your dog responds to the “spin” command and the finger motion.

Once your pooch has mastered the spin, take him to every party you go to so that you look awesome.
