Pet friendly places near Holland Park, London

St Johns baptist church

There is a massive range of dog friendly places ranging from pet boutiques and cafes to churches near Holland Park in London. So, if you are desperate for a day out in London with your pet Holland Park might be the perfect place to go! In this blog I will be going over a few of our favourite pet friendly places in the Holland Park area.

Pet friendly church

Have you ever thought that it would be nice to bring your pet with you to church each week? Well did you know there is a pet friendly church in London?! Not only does St John’s welcome pets for their weekly service but they also hold a pet blessing every year. This is to mark the feast of St Francis, the patron saint of animals. Each animal gets its own blessing and prayer from the priest. The pet friendly church is St John the Baptist church (Holland Rd, W14 8AH). It is a beautiful grade I listed church dating back to 1868 that looks more like a cathedral than a church.  So, not what you would usually expect from a pet friendly church!

Dog friendly café

Holland Park café is perfect for a mid-walk hot drink or pastry, all homemade of course. It is located in a relaxed spot in Holland Park with a patio for when the weather is nice so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. They are also open year-round, and offer eat in or takeaway.

Dog friendly pubs

There are loads of dog friendly pubs in the area ranging from The Westbourne a very popular gastropub that also happens to be Kate Moss’ favourite! To The Ladbroke Arms which is the perfect place to stop for a gin and tonic or your favourite tipple after a dog walk around Holland Park. It’s located near Notting Hill but is tucked away in its own little enclave to create a warm, welcoming, and peaceful atmosphere.

It’s safe to say there are many many more dog friendly places in the Holland Park area than the few mentioned in this blog. So, if you are thinking of visiting with your pet definitely try out some of the places mentioned in the blog but also have a quick google to see what else is in the area. Because I can guarantee that you will be able to find the perfect place to go for you and your pet.
