It is widely known that every dog enjoys peanut butter. The problem is that you cannot just give your pet a jar full of peanut butter. While the protein is good for your dog, they will tend to overeat. It is better to give your dog a treat that will have something a little more substantial than just the peanut butter. They will enjoy the treat and will not be bugging you as much to get more of the peanut butter.
One thing to watch for is that you do not want to buy many of the popular brands of peanut butter. This is not only because of the amount of preservatives that are found in the peanut butter, but your dog will not benefit from the amount of sugar and salt that is found in these forms of peanut butter. You are much better off purchasing the organic versions if you cannot make your own. This recipe calls for organic peanut butter you will be able to find at your local store.
Remember when you are baking these that if you are looking for a bit more snap, you can simply bake these for longer. Try reducing the oven temperature if you are looking to utilise these as snappy treats. Do not store for too long and make sure that you are keeping them in an airtight container. They should last at least a couple of weeks.

Ingredients:
2 cups rice flour
1 cup organic rolled oats
1/3 cup organic peanut butter
12; Tbsp. Fish Oil
1 12; cups water
Method:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl mix together rice flour and oats. Add a cup of water to this mix until smooth. Incorporate the remaining water to the mixture to create a soft dough. Lightly flour hands and roll tablespoon portions of the dough into individual balls. Place the ball 2 inches apart on a baking sheet. Use a lightly floured fork to press each ball down onto the baking sheet. Make the fork in different direction from the first press on each dough ball to leave a grid pattern. Place the baking sheet into the oven and bake for 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow the biscuits to cool completely before removing them from the baking sheet.
