Facts About You And Your Dog As A Pair

Written by Alessia

There are a lot of reasons why we pick the dog we want to adopt and love. Some reasons are that they are cute, they’re the type of dog your family has always had, they are a perfect breed for your living quarters, you have kids and want something well behaved, or maybe it’s somethings else. But interestingly enough, there are facts about you and your dog as a pair that have actually be scientifically linked to certain personality traits. Without knowing it, I have chosen a dog that is a mix between the perfect companion for a child (debatable in Lucas’ case) and perfect for someone who is highly social. It’s true that both Lucas and I are highly social, though I’ll never know if that is the reason why we seemed so perfect for each other at the animal shelter. Do you and your dog have any shared traits? Do you look alike? If you are looking for a dog to adopt, would you choose a breed now based on shared personality traits? Let us know!

About the author

I'm Alessia, owner of a rottweiler/beagle mix named Lucas (aka Lucifer - you can put two and two together on why he gets that nickname). I love all things dogs and puppies, among many other things such as babies, coffee, and nail polish. I like to write a lot and take loads of pictures, so blogging is right up my alley. Look out for posts by me on this blog, as well as my personal blog.
