Dog Stays By His Master’s Graveside For 6 Years

Written by Chelsea Dogs

Here’s another beautiful story of a dog named Capitán in Argentina which proves the bond between dog and master goes beyond the grave. Capitán’s master Miguel Guzmán died in hospital and his body was taken to a funeral home far away from where he lived with Capitán. Capitán went missing for a few days but was eventually found lying in the cemetery next to Guzmán’s resting place.

Capitan dog stays by owners grave for 6 years

Capitán had never been to the cemetery before and the first time the funeral director saw him arrive at the cemetery, he was alone. The dog did a few laps around the tombstones before finding Guzmán’s grave – all on his own.

Capitán still visits his master’s grave every single day at 6:00 p.m. like clockwork. If that’s not an act of true love, loyalty and dedication, we don’t know what is.
